Sustainability and environmental responsibility have always been fundamental values at Tamarit Beach Resort. These principles guide the way we work and shape our strategic decisions, consolidating us as a campsite committed to a more responsible and sustainable tourism model.
As part of this commitment, we decided to incorporate renewable energy into our facilities through the installation of photovoltaic solar panels, enabling us to generate clean energy, reduce the environmental impact of our activity and move towards a more efficient energy model.
As stated in the approved project, the solar panels have been installed in the offices, Sanitary Block 6, the Bike Center and the Laundry, totaling five strategic locations within the resort. This implementation was designed to cover the main energy consumption points, helping to improve system efficiency, increase renewable energy generation and progressively reduce our carbon footprint, while decreasing dependence on conventional energy sources.
This project has been made possible thanks to the support of the Generalitat, which granted us a €21,634.11 subsidy, aimed at promoting energy transition and the implementation of renewable energy. This support represents an important boost to continue developing sustainable initiatives within the resort.
Beyond its energy impact, this initiative also has an awareness component. We want our guests to take part in this commitment and understand the shared responsibility in caring for our planet. Investing in renewable energy is not only a structural improvement, but also a statement of principles.
With this initiative, Tamarit Beach Resort strengthens its position as a sustainability benchmark within the tourism sector.
