Tamarit Beach Resort continues with social work by making a donation to the Joventut i Vida association
As every year, Tamarit Beach Resort has organized during all season 2021, different activities with the intention of raise funds for charity. Last 17th of December, Tamarit Beach Resort made his first donation to the “tarraconense” Joventut i Vida inside the frame of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the company. The total amount that was donated was 1.000€, number that encourages both institutions to keep collaborating for a common good.
The donation, that was effective in the association building in Bonavista neighborhood, was the result of different workshops made in Tamarit Beach Resort with the collaboration of volunteers together with the animation team of the camping. Antonella Perrone, Marketing and Sales Managers states that “with a little input per person, we have achieved a total amount that we are sure it’s going to help the association with their projects, specially the ones related to the education of the kids from the area. It is important- she adds- to raise awareness the young and the adult about the existence of excluded and vulnerable people”. From the camping the result is very positive, and they believe it’s a necessary and rewarding job.
With 1€ of input per participant, kids and adults have been enjoying, during season 2021, activities such as workshops, crafts, family and ecologic games, among others. The workshops, not only were able to enhance creativity and team work, but also “they pretend to raise awareness about different social aspects, highlighting the personal care and respect through others, or learning how to be grateful for what we have and we don’t take into account sometimes”, says Perrone.
The Joventut i Vida association, performing part of their activities in Torredembarra, has different actions related to homeless people, social lunchroom, social emergencies or community beneficence work. Encarna Quílez, responsible for the Shared Schooling Unit El Taller de Torredembarra, expressed her personal gratitude and also in the name of the association. “It is so important to have companies from the surroundings, such as Tamarit Beach Resort, collaborating with this kind of actions. We are so pleased with this big input that has allowed us to get 4 computers for the kids from UEC Torredembarra”.
Juventut i Vida together with Tamarit Beach Resort they want to continue participating in this partnership and achieve year by year bigger charity goals. According to the resort manager, Xavier Melero, “the camping is absolutely committed to social work and associations from our surroundings. Charity fairs are also a good way to make the assistants understand why we are into this, and why not, to make them part of the help that they are sharing” says Melero.
